Our History
Since its birth in the 1930’s, Reedsport Assembly has been a faithful friend of the people of Reedsport. Through good times and bad, the church has stood as a source of stability, influencing the community with the grace of God. Since moving to its current location in 1965, the church has stood as a watchman on a hill, committed to reaching the people of Reedsport with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
We are a community of ordinary people seeking to serve an extraordinary God.
We readily accept the commission of Christ to be witnesses of his gospel both in our community and around the world. We participate in many outreaches, such as Angel Tree, Operation Christmas Child and the Annual Thanksgiving Dinner sponsored by LUMA. We also support the Pregnancy Center in Coos Bay as well as the South Coast Gospel mission. Our goal is to continually increase in grace, while embracing others with the love of God.
Our Mission and Vision

In Luke 4 Jesus read “The Spirit of the Lord is on me because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom to the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the captive free.”

At Reedsport Assembly we have accepted the call of God to continue the mission of Jesus. We endeavor to share the love of Christ with all, equip and encourage the followers of Jesus, and live lives worthy of God. We recognize that it is Jesus Christ that heals, delivers, and forgives; our desire is to be examples of the grace of God through sincere worship, authentic teaching, and godly fellowship.
